On Dec. 1, 2007 Benni Hemm Hemm will release a new album called »Ein í leyni«. There are 7 songs on the album, sung in various languages, played on very many instruments by the 14 people that took part in the recordings. Among them are Jens Lekman, who plays guitar and sings, and Bill Wells, who plays piano.
Most of the songs are brand new, but two of them are older than the rest. »Sól á heyhóla«, from »Kajak« released earlier this year, is performed in a new version. Then there is the wonderful »Jag tyckte hon sa lönnlöv« by Jens Lekman, which is also known as his Mapleleaves.
New things are introduced on this album. For example there are lyrics in Danish, Swedish and Icelandic, plus two French words. And then a string trio visited Benni Hemm Hemm during the recordings for the first time. So there is a lot going on at Benni Hemm Hemm´s house these days.
