First single released in correspondence with the new album »12 Desperate Straight Lines« (February 2011 via Morr Music): Starting with an intro, that is in some ways reminiscent to The Cure, »Please Ask For Help« turns out to be a true stomper, pushed forward by it's harsh drums. These are countered by elaborate melodies, which are in a little grumpy mood. The song was recorded and produced by Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie) and will also appear on the forthcoming album.
The flip contains a cover of »Game Of Pricks«, originally played by Guided By Voices. In less than two minutes Michael B. Lerner will break every heart, that beats for indie rock.
