Vertigo RMX EP

Nov 4, 2011

Following the release of FM Belfast's sophomore album »Don't Want To Sleep«, Morr Music is back with a remix package of »Vertigo«. It's one of the album's most thrilling tracks, which quickly became a favourite at FM Belfast's live shows – perhaps due to its euphoric, MGMT-esque chorus and cutting-edge horn section. This 12" features the original version as well as four remixes.

First up is Borko. If you're familiar with his deliberate solo work, you'll be surprised: When it's time to party, Borko parties hard! »Diamond Rings« perfectly captures the euphoria and pours it into a simple but irresistible synthpop style. Next up is New York indie outfit Ra Ra Riot who use heavy arpeggios to create a collision of melodies. The final mix comes from Pink Ganther, who adds new harmonies to the track. He adds new harmonies to the track and finally gives it a slightly romantic, neo-trancy sound design that might remind you of Pantha Du Prince. And so this incredibly catchy EP comes to a dreamy end.
